The Camberene wastewater treatment plant in Dakar (Senegal): a francophone West Africa benchmark facility for environmental impact control.
On 11-January-2009, the Office National de l’Assainissement du Sénégal (ONAS, Senegal National Office of Sanitation) and Stereau, the engineering subsidiary of the Saur Group, launched an expansion and standards upgrade to the wastewater purification wing of the Dakar Camberene Treatment Plant (capacity of 250,000 residents and 19,200 m3/day).
