With its 6,900 employees in France, Saur realized net sales* of 1,1 billion euros for 2009.

In 3rd place on the outsourced water services management market in France, Saur manages approximately 5,700 water contracts in over 6,700 communes. Saur is organised around six regional divisions and subsidiaries in the DOM (French overseas departements: Martinique, Guadeloupe, and Réunion). Saur ensures its public service mission by serving 5.5 million consumers, mainly in rural areas and peripheral communes. Numerous industries also benefit from its know-how in the field of process water.
Saur operates approximately 3,400 potable water production plants and pumping stations in France. Meanwhile, dedicated teams perform such works as system hook-ups, maintenance work on facilities, and system densification. Close to 1000 kilometres of pipeline (potable water, wastewater, and rainwater) are laid or rehabilitated each year by the Saur group. Capitalising on expertise acquired in outsourced service management, Saur is also active in within the scope of golf course management through its subsidiary Formule Golf (leader in France with 21 courses managed).
